Go
for big fun at the bar or the big menu of well-prepared
fish and shellfish. |

This
unassuming seafood shack on the Miami River is definitely
a big fish in the little pond of Downtown restaurants.

In
the midst of an industrial wasteland, where the mouth
of the Miami River gives way to the Biscayne Bay, the
adventurous diner will find a little oasis of pure magic
in the atmosphere of Big Fish. |

At
Big Fish Miami (305-373-1770) on the Miami River, Liz
(B.S. ‘90) and I love the food and the setting — tables
right on the river bank, the beautiful Miami skyline as
a backdrop, tugs wrestling freighters down the river,
an outdoor bar that wraps around a giant banyan tree.
Great food and wine. |
